SEO and Star Wars
Posted by: James Lewitzke in General Search Engine Talk, Philosophy, Star WarsI’ve came up with a bunch of neat similarities between the Star Wars Galaxy and the Internet Universe below:
Webmaster-Talk and the IHelpYou Forums are the Jedi Temples of the Internet (The Galaxy), unlike Digital Point, which is a Sith Shrine, subservient to the Dark Side of the Force (spam) who use their TIE Fighters (splogs) and droids (spambots) to spew their ideas.
Their latest assignment to invade the planet Coruscant (Google) will fail miserably, as it has already been protected by a shield generator (PageRank) and the Planetary high council (Sergey Brin, Matt Cutts et. al.) are already developing new ways to defend themselves (constant search algorithm changes).
Here are some of the prominent Lighthat Force Practitioners:
- Force Overlord Steven Bradley
- Jedi Master Adam Senour
- Jedi Master Forrest Croce
- Jedi Master Doug Heil
- Jedi Watchman Connie Shelton
- Jedi Knight John Alexander
- Jedi Knight Daniel Price
- and of course, Jedi Counselor James Lewitzke
Along with Force Adepts recently being taken on for training:
- Jedi Padawan Dustin
Remember that the Dark Side of the Force tempts us all with false prophecies (”Get-Rich-Quick” and “Achieving #1 Rankings as fast as possible”) and we must resist as much as possible.

Jedi Knight
I resent being only a knight compared to Jedi Master! Lol OJ.
I should really watch more Star Wars so I’d understand more of that post!
Would you like to be a Jedi Master, Dan? Or have your own custom Jedi Title?
Hey man, just found your blog from a post at steve pavlinas forum. Nice site. This post is pretty funny and cool. It’s definitely a good comparison lol. I would love to join the fight as I completely understand what it’s like to try and build traffic and make money off of the internet, without spending much money yourself. Keep up the great posts man, I’ll be checking back often.
Thanks for the Feedback, TributeK.
I added you to my new “Jedi Recruit” List, (If you want to use your real name, just let me know) :).
Oh that’s cool, thanks. Sure I’ll use my real name it’s Dustin.
