Loved it before, Loved it again. Saw this when i got banned for the first time and you know how whack ass DP is i have over 100 Accounts there and Scre*w Shawn Hogan (Cookie Stuffing) arse, I would love list of new 100 more =P pleaseeeeeeeeeeee!

Having been banned until August, for, well – virtually nothing- I asked a question about the rules wanting to change my name and didn’t want to pay the $25 for the privilege. They came back with the stupid answer that they had to close the forum to do it. Running a forum myself I obviously knew that to be untrue.

I simply opened another account and they banned me for that. I won’t be going back. Bunch or arrogant idiots.

Hi, You are right! I also have something to say about DP, not something but too many things.
1. Most of the moderators on DP are really, really illiterate. Once I made a post telling DP members about how to become a good DP member. I was having only 10 posts at that time, because I was doing reading rather than writing posts. One of the moderators banned me for that post. Do you know why? Because he said, that a member with 10 posts can not know how to become a good DP member, you must have a duplicate account. He was really a fucking DP moderator. I would like to fuck him hard from behind.
2. DP is having a bad looking green theme. Who made it, like my shit.
3. Everyone is sharing its SECRET method there and everyone is guru there.
4. Fake reviews are going on there.
5. People on DP are just like beggars. You start selling an ebook only for $5 and a lot of people will be begging for a review copy and no one is buyer there. I ask everyone to suck my dick, if they want a free review copy.
6. DP members think, a person with high rep and a number of posts can sell things on DP. A person with low number of posts should not sell. Huh! It means they think, DP is a place where you can judge the skills of an internet marketer. If a person is new to DP, it means he is new to internet marketing….. really pointless! I would like to piss on DP and on all its members for this thinking.

I am having a lot of other things to post, but time is short. Please edit my words in case you find inappropriate. But, it must be posted here.

Of course nobody will answer your “ranting” because for that they will need an evidence, which they cannot provide because for morons Mods banning is not about us being guilty but about hating people who are smarter than them. Did I just created an oxymoron: DP member / smart?

If it will makes you feel better, you are not alone. I got the same 3 month ban reason as you had and when I came back and asked them for evidence or at least asked them to tell me what is the name of my “alleged” second account, they just ban me for good.

IMHO, DP became just another Classified Ads Forum, therefor if you have something for sale, DP is the place to be but other than that, you are lucky they banned you

I think the reason for the hate is very simple. The moderators there treat many people like garbage. I haven’t seen the amount of hatred towards Digitalpoint against any other forum and there is good reason for it – not anything about jealousy. I don’t even know Shawn. After my experience, I don’t care to know Digitalpoint. Fortunately there are many alternatives that are more productive and I haven’t looked back. Go read http://www.fuckdigitalpoint.com – people are furious because they’ve spent good time there, Fanning got his money from traffic, the moderators made theirs from pushing products and there has been dumping on many honest, smart people.

guys, I think this place is so full of hatred that, even if a bee, who had touched the dp flower comes here, will be burnt to death. And thats pathetic. What you guys exactly want to prove. “Digital Point sucks??” gimme a break. It is by far the best seo forum out there. And one pissed off idiot, all of a sudden after getting banned from a forum comes up and gorges out his anger… its just not done. I’ve been in that forum for quite some time. And I think the overzealous forums, who simply can not stand DP’s success, should restrain themselves from misleading people through such blog posts. I know you will delete my post. I know you cowards simply do not have enough guts to provide a space to a speaker neutrally.. and thats the difference between you and DP. They allows every one a space to share their views. Thats where they stand out. So if you dare to let my post get live, I would feel really great to have rubbed off at least some sporting attitude to you.

DP administrators and moderators act like they are godlike. For now on, I will probably never return to DP after getting accused of scamming and getting banned for 3 months because the guy didn’t understand me, and continued to flame me after I got banned for no reason. I think all the admins and mods need to get a life because they act like they own the community. The owner already has a life.

I am “NEONRIDER” that posted a handful of posts on DigitalPoint forum in the past. Never offended anyone, no breaking the rules, but today whemn I went there to state the fact about many faults with Amazon Affiliate website I realised I was being logged in yet logged out immuiediately. The only explanation I wAs banned. Not only that. When I tried to register again I kept on getting the following error:

I signed up to digital point a couple of years ago to sell a site. However I wanted to sell the site quickly and did not have the time for the 2 week waiting period so I left and just sold on Sitepoint. Over a year later when I got back into websites I resigned up for DP. I did not even remember I had my old account. It had no activity and had not been touched in ages. But when I signed up again I was an active member. I had good itrader and was getting a lot of posts. It was then that some ahole on the site accused me of selling warez and reported me despite my reciept and permission to sell what I was selling. His report got the mods attention and when I emailed him asking for him to stop with his false allegations he reported me for dupe accounts. Got me banned. Several of the mods took my side and agreed that I should not be banned. But a few of them insisted that I stay banned so that I did. So because of some asshole member and a stupid rule I get banned for life and they lose an active and helpful member. I am not sure how it makes sense to ban their best members.

For a while I tried making some other accounts. But I was banned for a plethora of reasons. One time I asked a mod if I could close a thread and restart it. I was told yes but when I did so I got banned because another asshole member (who happened to become a mod a couple months later) said I was trying to rip people off by having 2 topics (makes sense right?!?) Since they do not let you dispute bans I could not point out how I had permission.

Then I had an account where I posted a thread in the suggestions forum in which I said they shoud allow banned users to file a dispute because of a lot of accidental or sketchy bans. Ironically another member was a dupe account who commented and somebody called him out on it. The mods are so damn stupid that they thought he was talking about me instead of the other guy so I got banned. However another member was able to get me unbanned for that one. But that still goes to show how damn stupid they are.

I could go on all day long about the stupid bans I have had. And all of the bullshit infractions for nothing at all (including 8 points in one day with not a single rule broken. and for all you fag DP supporters no i was not breaking any rules and that includes their no bumping rules. i pmed a mod arguing the infractions and when I said that I would wait off the points she responded by banning me and under the reason she said something like “this ban will make sure you wait off the points”)

But DP is bad for more then the mods and bs bans. If you go to the politics and religion discussion you will see the most racist and hatred filled posts ever on any site out there. Members like guerilla and grim are some of the biggest asses on the site that are not mod related. Not only are they extreme racists but they argue like little kids. Instead of debating they call you names and ignore your points because they know they are wrong. I once PM’ed the mods about them and how they shoudl be banned by the DP rules and the mods replied defending them and said that their name calling was not directed at me but at my ideas so it was not the same. But I am pretty sure when somebody specifically says “you are a fucking retard” that it is an attack and that qualifies as their automatic ban for personal attacks.
